Hi! I would like to request my ITR or form 2316 from the year 2018. I have lost my copies and my previous employer is not responding. This will be used for my pre-employment requirements. Thank you!

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated July 25, 2021, under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked for BIR 2316.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we would need for you to resubmit your request as we are still missing from you some vital information. Kindly provide your complete name, and attach two valid IDs with your birthdate and picture, for validation purposes.

Also, your request has been denied because our office is constrained by rules under Sec.13.3 Standard Procedure for FOI Request to wit:” The purpose of the request for information shall be specific or adequately and sufficiently described. General averments of the purpose such as "for information," "for research," "for legal purpose," or other similarly worded purposes shall not be considered to have met the requirements of specificity. Failure to specify the reason for or purpose of the request for information shall be a ground for denial of the FOI request.
