This is in reference to my previous FOI request (DOH-036482885537) about the 2023 Health Emergency Allowance (HEA). PBBM in his recently concluded SONA assured the immediate release of HEA to healthworkers. May I know the reason why the January 2023 HEA is only being processed across DoH hospitals?

Your FOI request is approved.
The Department has been sub-allotting funds to DOH Hospitals for the grans of HEA. The sub-allotment of funds is contingent on the submission of duly approved letter of request for funds, liquidation of previously transfrerred funds and approved HEA form.
