Hello!  My mother’s flight is September 9, My husband (French Citizen) the one who will sponsor her, 
We just knew the new rules of immigration today,
And i called Philippines embassy about notorized affidavit and they said 1week processing.
I would just like to inquire if a soft copy or a printed copy of the Affidavit of Support is accepted in case that the actual document didn't arrive in the country on time? If not, what would be the other accepted documents that can be presented in lieu of AOSG?

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved. I enclosed a copy of the IACAT Revised Guidelines on Departure Formalities for International-Bound Passengers as a reference to the information you requested. 

Please note that the original Affidavit of Support and Undertaking is a required document for sponsored travel and it must be duly authenticated by the Philippine Embassy or Consulate. However, immigration officers, based on the totality of circumstances may allow the departure of a  sponsored passenger by a relative in the first degree as long as relationship can be sufficiently established.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Norman G. Tansingco at xinfo@immigration.gov.ph. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
