Dear Kristel Lopez,

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Sep 02, 2023 09:45:15 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You requested on the procedure how to place your husband's name in the BI's Hold Departure Order (HDO) by virtue a pending Court case.

BI appreciates information given to us. However, we advice filing of civil/ criminal action at the Courts and request for the inclusion of his name in the Hold Departure Order (HDO). Once an HDO was issued, BI requires submission of Court- issued copy of HDO, for inclusion of his name in the BI’s derogatory list.

Please note that the inclusion of name in the BI’s derogatory list prompts airport- based personnel to defer PHL departure until the Courts issues an allow departure Order.

BI- Main Office is located at Magallanes Drive, Intramuros, Manila with telephone nos. 527-3248, 310-4530, 310-4537.

We hope we have addressed your concern. Thank you.
