Refusal to Exit Cebu Despite Visa Already Issued by the Destination Country

Requested from BI by A. Almoroto at 02:26 PM on Nov 20, 2023.
Purpose: Travel
Date of Coverage: 11/16/2023 - 11/16/2023
Tracking no: #BI-014589611854

Almoroto 02:26 PM, Nov 20, 2023

I am filing a complaint before the Bureau of Immigrations on incident of refusal by Immigrations officer to let my relative fly to Japan on Nov. 16, 2023 via Air Asia flight Z2 9180. This is despite that she already has a visa for entry to Japan and that she already provided all the documents necessary for the said trip. Because of this refusal, as her sponsor, all my effort, time, money spent have been all put to waste. Just the flight cost alone, the amount that cannot be refunded is just unbearable. I demand for BI to explain & cover for the costs incurred due to this incident.
