Good day!

I would like to ask is the copy of OEC required in bureau of immigration for families going abroad as sponsored by OFW spouse. What if she lost already the copy of her OEC? What should we do?

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested. However, you may wish to contact Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) at poea.gov.ph, or resubmit your request addressed to the correct agency on the eFOI portal found in the POEA's website.

Please be informed that the status of an OFW abroad are under the supervision of the POEA and OWWA and not within the authority of the BI.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to the BI Commissioner, NORMAN G.
