Hi Ma’am/Sir,
I would just like to clarify regarding my Australian visa validity. The Australian embassy granted me a tourist visa with multiple entry. It is stated that my last date to arrive is on October 19, 2018, is my visa only valid on the said date? Because i’m planning to visit Australia again on Christmas holiday.

You asked for Visa Grant Notice - Visitor (Class FA) Visitor ( Subclass 600).

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved. 

Please be informed that the validity of your Australian Tourist Visa is from 19 July 2018 to 19 October 2018. You can use your tourist visa on the said dates only. If you wish to travel back to Australia beyond its validity date, you need to secure an appropriate visa from the Australian Embassy.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Commissioner Jaime H. Morente, Bureau of Immigration. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
