INTERNATIONAL OUTBOUND TRAVEL / LIFT TRAVEL BAN FOR FILIPINOS WITH IMMEDIATE FAMILIES ABROAD

Requested from BI by S. Go at 11:13 PM on Oct 12, 2020.
Purpose: Requesting permission to travel to the USA for humanitarian purpose / family reunification
Date of Coverage: 10/12/2020 - 10/12/2020
Tracking no: #BI-441912578277

Go 11:13 PM, Oct 12, 2020

Good day!

May I ask your good office to please allow me to travel to New York, USA to help/assist my sister and her family.

My sister is a Registered Nurse and is working in the Emergency Department in New York, and is working long shifts due to the pandemic. She has two children, a 4 month old baby and a 19 month old toddler, who both need full attention.

My brother-in-law underwent a surgery just a few weeks ago, and is not allowed to do any physical work for the time being. He is not even allowed to carry their baby, let alone take care of two children while my sister is on hospital duty

Go 11:14 PM, Oct 12, 2020

I hope you consider this as an essential travel, since there is no one else there (in NY, USA) who can assist them right now. I won’t go there for vacation/tourism purposes, and will be staying at my sister’s house for the rest of the trip. Rest assured that I have all the necessary documents to provide to the Immigration Officer upon my departure if I am granted this request.

Hoping for your kind consideration. Thank you very much. God bless.
