Alternative requirements for an AoS

Requested from BI by A. Regino at 07:15 PM on Nov 20, 2023.
Purpose: Tourist/Visit Visa
Date of Coverage: 11/20/2023 - 11/20/2023
Tracking no: #BI-439419501999

Regino 07:15 PM, Nov 20, 2023

I would like to request an alternative document for an Affidavit of Support in the UAE. I understand that a new regulation was introduced in 2020, requiring OFWs to meet a minimum salary of 10,000 AED to be eligible for an Affidavit of Support when sponsoring direct relatives' visits to the UAE.

Currently, my salary is 8,850 AED (excluding overtime), and I am looking to assist my visiting sister. If I fall short of the minimum wage for an Affidavit of Support, what alternative document or requirement can be considered?
