Hi by march 2023 my bf will travel to usa to visit his sick brother( cancer patient) he is currently unemployed ( waiting for bar exam result). Aside from the plane ticket (usa to manila) What can he present to immigration to vouch that he will be coming back to philippines? He cannot present salary certificate because he is unemployed. Hoping to hear from you soon. Thank you

Your Request

You asked for Query on certificate of no income.

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved. 

For departing Filipino tourists, the documentary requirements include a valid passport, valid visa (as applicable), return/onward ticket, hotel booking/accommodation, and travel insurance in case of COVID-19 infection/hospitalization. He should provide proof of financial capacity to support his travel such as bank statements, credit card, etc. He could also provide proof of his bar examination registration to explain that he is currently just waiting for the results and at present, has no local employment.
