While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we would deny your request in compliance to DATA PRIVACY ACT of 2012 (RA 10173), which is comprehensive and strict privacy legislation “to protect the fundamental human right of privacy, of communication while ensuring free flow of information to promote innovation and growth.” Travel Record is consist of passenger's information. Thus, it is covered under the RA 10173, which requires personal request and application of the owner of the data, Special Power of Attorney if by representative or Court Order.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to JAIME H.
