Hi. Whenever I travel abroad, I am usually being asked by our immigration officer to show a copy of a Certificate of not the Same person. Unfortunately , I lost the original copy  instead I was only left with photocopy. Is there a way to just request a certified true copy to our bureau of immigration and skip the long process of reapplication?

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Jun 07, 2023 01:54:53 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

We sincerely apologize for denying your request.

Please be informed that the Certification and Clearance Section (CCS) does not issue CTC of Not the Same Person Certificate (NTSP). However, you may opt to apply for another NTSP just in case you need an original copy.
 
Application for Not the Same Person Certificate is only accepted and processed at the head office of the Bureau of Immigration, Intramuros, Manila for reasons of security and uniformity.

If you are unable to personally process the application, you can designate a representative by providing an appropriate Special Power of Attorney (SPA).

A Certification of Not the Same Person may be issued upon submission of the following requirements:

1. Duly accomplished application form which may be downloaded at https://immigration.gov.ph/images/FORMS/FY_2019/Certification/CCS-A-NSTP-2016-NotTheSamePerson.pdf or may be accomplished at BI main office upon application;
2. Duly notarized Affidavit of Denial;
3. Photocopy of the biopage of the passport bearing the personal details;
4. Clearance from the court or appropriate government agency, whenever applicable;
5. NBI Clearance, whenever applicable;
6. Special Power of Attorney and photocopy of a valid government issued ID if applied by a representative;and
7. Processing Fees - Php 510.
