Dear Ritchie Walsh,

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Oct 12, 2023 06:20:40 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Based on your letter, you were requesting for the deportation of an un-named person working in France as Domestic helper and alleged illegal recruiter. 

We appreciate the information given. However, please be informed that the Bureau of Immigration has no jurisdiction over OFW abroad, the matter may be best addressed by the Department of Foreign Affairs- Foreign Service Post (DFA- FSP) in the country where the incident took place. 

Please note that the OWWA is an attached agency of the DOLE whose mandate protects and promotes the welfare of OFWs and their dependents. 

You may coordinate with the Philippine Embassy in France for proper action.
