While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we would need for you to personally file your application or request to the BI Main Office. This is in compliance to the Data Privacy Act 2012, comprehensive and strict privacy legislation “to protect the fundamental human right of privacy, of communication while ensuring free flow of information to promote innovation and growth.” Please be reminded that Travel Record is protected by the Data Privacy Act. Thus, it can only be disclosed to the owner of the information, with Special Power of Attorney if thru authorized representative or with Court Order.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to BI Commissioner JAIME H. MORENTE, Bureau of Immigration, Magallanes Drive, Intramuros, Manila.. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
