Hello. I would like to request information about the hydroponic food production industry in the Philippines. In particular:

1) The amount of land used in hydroponic farming.

2) The total amount of  vegetable produce generated by hydroponic farms.

3) Total government spending in support of hydroponics farmers and related technologies.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have  the information you have requested. However, you may wish to contact Bureau of Agricultural Research at +63 2 461-2900 / +63 2 461-2800, or resubmit your request addressed to the correct agency on the eFOI portal at https://www.bar.gov.ph/index.php/contact-us.

You may also contact Bureau of PLant Industry, particularly with their Agricultural Engineering Division at 524-0801.
