Dear Solym Rose Fernando,

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Jul 29, 2018 09:00:15 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your request

You asked for Livestock & Poultry Sub-Sector Data.

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have some of the information you have requested.

For your question no. 1 re: Livestock and Poultry Subsector Statistical data, it should be requested at Philippine Statistics Authority as they have detail data and analysis for your request. The Bureau of Agricultural Statistics is also transferred to PSA concerns. You may check their website at http://countrystat.psa.gov.ph/. They upload data on livestock and poultry subsector every year and quarterly.

For your question no. 2 re: Livestock and Poultry Subsector budget for 2017-2018. You may view it transparency seal of Bureau of Animal Industry at http://www.bai.da.gov.ph/index.php/transparency or you may request it at Department of Budget and Management at https://www.dbm.gov.ph/index.php. DBM also uploaded 2016 and 2017 budget allocation in their website.

For question no. 3 on technical data: Upon checking it was already uploaded at NMIS website. You may view it at http://nmis.gov.ph/index.php/programs/meat-safety-quality-assurance-program or at http://nmis.gov.ph/index.php/about/nmis-quality-policy. You may also check this Department Circular which answer your request http://nmis.gov.ph/index.php/laws-policies/da-department-circular/350-da-department-circular-no-01-series-of-2014.

As for endorsement letter and certificate of appearance, I believe issuance of appearance might require your physical appearance at NMIS regional office in Western Visayas. You may visit NMIS regional office at BAI Compound, Doña Pepita Aquino Avenue, Fort San Pedro 5000 Iloilo City, Philippines 1107 or you may call them at (033) 337-0956/ (033) 509-8549 to follow-up your request or if they can give you additional data for your research. If I may suggest, you might also visit BAI in your region.

For further assistance you may review the FAQ section of the eFOI site: https://www.foi.gov.ph/help.
