Good day! Requesting your good office to check status of my license as a Financial Advisor for the mentioned period above. I'm intending to either renew my license or apply for a new license as FA with another financial institution. Can you also advise ruling if there's prescription/expiration period for licenses issued by IC? Here's my personal info:

Your Request

You asked for License Status.

Response to Request

In relation to your request, please be advised that, based on the records of this Commission, you were licensed as a life (traditional) insurance agent of Manufacturers Life Insurance Company which expired last 31 December 2018. 

The validity period of an insurance agent’s license is for three (3) years under Section 307 of the Insurance Code, as amended by Republic Act No. 10607. 

For further inquiries, you may contact our Licensing Division at 8523 8461 local 111.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by email at rr.mojica@insurance.gov.ph. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
