NHIP Dashboard Indicators

Requested from PH by L. Gondranios at 12:43 AM on Sep 26, 2019.
Purpose: Research
Date of Coverage: 01/01/2018 - 12/31/2018
Tracking no: #PH-026881478844

Gondranios 12:43 AM, Sep 26, 2019

Good day! May I ask for the description and/or assessment tool(s) for the NHIP Dashboard Indicators, spefically the "utilization" indicator? How it was assessed and/or identified, e.g., the 12% unique member claims reimbursed as published in 2017 Stats and Charts?

In addition, may I ask for the 2018 data of NHIP Dashboard Indicators? It is not released in the 2018 Stats and Charts provided by the PhilHealth in their website.

Thank you!

Dear Lloyd Gondranios,

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Sep 26, 2019 12:43:31 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your Request

You asked for NHIP Dashboard Indicators.

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved. I enclose a copy of [all] of the information you requested. The 12% utilization was computed using the count of unique member id no. with claims payment over the total no. of members covered for that same period. In 2018 PhilHealth discontinued this report because we are in the process of giving all dependents their unique ID no.

Thank you.
