I have a cataract in both of my eyes that need surgery.  I have visited Legazpi eye center and was told that i need to pay 25,000 on top of my PhilHealth coverage.  

Are there public hospitals in Legazpi City where I can get my cataract surgery for free with my PhilHealth coverage?

Your FOI request is approved. You may avail of the cataract procedure at  Bicol Regional Training and Teaching Hospital a government facility at Legazpi City. You may also contact our Regional Office at  (02) 441-7444 loc. 5300  regarding the information you requested.
