Na-confine po ako due to covid sa Manila COVID19 Field Hospital. Kinuha po nung Doctors and Nurses yung Philhealth number ko. However, wala po sila mabigay sakin na SOA ng pagkaka confine ko. Kailangan ko po nito para sa cash assistance claims for COVID19 confinement from my personal insurance. Since wala po sila mabigay, meron po ba kayo maibibigay na Certificate of coverage from Philhealth which indicates that they have covered my stay in Manila COVID-19 field hospital through my membership?

You asked for COVID19 Philhealth coverage.

Response to your request
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office cannot provide the information that you have requested. Please be advised that all claims for Covid-19 are filed by the healthcare provider within 60 calendar days from discharged date. Once received, the documents are processed within 60 calendar days. Once processed, you may request for a copy of Benefit Payment Notice (BPN) at PhilHealth office. It is a document indicating the details of your recent hospitalization or outpatient procedure. It is through this document that the member will know if the correct amount was deducted from your total bill and other informations during confinement.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to actioncenter@philhealth.gov.ph. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
