Hi, I would like to request for Covid-19 financial assistance. I contracted the virus last Aug. 11, 2021 where I noticed my symptoms. Aug. 12, 2021 was the day I had may RT-PCR test. The result came out on Aug. 13, 2021 and I was positive from it. Thankfully, I am part of those people who just contracted a mild case of Covid so I just took Vitamins C with Zinc, 1000mg daily. However, my children has been exposed to me. They were my closed contact and they developed pneumonia. Good thing was they didn't contracted the virus, even my partner. It just that I was in debt with their medicin

You asked for Financial Assistance for Covid-19 patients.

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not provide financial assistance. However, you may wish to contact other govt. offices such as at  DSWD with regards to your request. In addition, please be informed that PhilHealth provides benefit for hospitalization. An active PhilHealth member, can avail the PhilHealth benefit prior discharge to the hospital via case rate packages.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to actioncenter@philhealth.gov.ph. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
