I am currently involved in an urban flood modeling project in the area of Mandaue City in Cebu. I would like to request your kind office for GIS shapefiles for the following:

1. Geology of the Philippines
2. Lineaments in Cebu province
3. Waterbody shapefiles for Cebu province

You asked for GIS shapefiles for Cebu Province.

Response to your request

Please be informed that this Office has geologic quadrangle maps (hard copies) of the Central Visayas Region and can provide only available jpeg files of the same. The Geology of the Philippines (map) may be requested from MGB Central Office. As for the lineament and water body shapefiles for the Province of Cebu, may we refer you to the DOST-Philippine Institute of Volcanology (PHIVOLCS) and the National Mapping and Resource Information Authority (NAMRIA), respectively, as these are within their Offices' mandates. We already sent you our reply on May 13, 2022 thru your email address.
