Clarification on the list of abandoned mine sites provided by the MGB

Requested from MGB by C. Napeñas at 06:21 PM on Nov 25, 2023.

Napeñas 06:21 PM, Nov 25, 2023

This is in relation to the list of abandoned mine sites provided by the MGB under eFOI Ticket No. 191946048412.

According to an article published in 2019, there are a total of 27 abandoned mines in the Philippines based on the data from MGB and Tetra Tech. May I please know why the MGB does not include those identified by Tetra Tech in their official list of abandoned mine sites?

The link for said article is attached for reference.
