We are Civil Engineering students from the University of Santo Tomas, and currently conducting a research study entitled, “Soil Erosion Vulnerability Assessment in San Mateo, Rizal using the Revised Universal Soil Loss Equation (RUSLE) and Geographic Information System Approach”. This is to kindly request for your assistance upon obtaining one of the essential data needed in our study, which is the soil data for the years 1990 to 2021 in San Mateo, Rizal.

While our objective is to provide information as much as possible, however, we regret to inform you that the provision of Soil Data is not within the scope of this Office. This type of data may be requested from other agencies like Bureau of Soils and Water Management. You may call this Office at telephone number 8332-9534 or visit their website.

Moreover, please be informed that the mandate of this Office pertains to geohazards (rain-induced landslide and flood hazards) and geologic data.
