Dear Leandro Ernesto Aque,

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Dec 16, 2021 05:48:28 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your Request

You asked for Geological map covering the Province of Cavite, containing the relative geological boundaries of Taal pyroclastics and the Guadalupe Formation.

Response to Request

Please be informed that recent findings disclosed that Taal Tuff and Guadalupe Formation are identical rock formation generally forming part of the Guadalupe Formation. Previous lithologic boundaries between several types of tuffaceous rocks in Cavite and vicinities are no longer in existence.

For further clarification, you may conduct research directly at Mines and Geosciences Bureau - Central Office (MGB CO) which is mandated in the disposal and distribution of geological maps and reports.

Thank you.

Respectfully,

Regional Office 4A
