Hello. Thank you very much for taking the time to go over this request. Is this really a service the NAP can do for me considering the logistics of the request I made? Unless they have digital copies of the documents I requested it is going to be so much work (at least for me). If they really are going out of their way to do this for me I will be very thankful. This is coming from a citizen that cannot go personally to the NAP.

Kindly be informed that as of this time, the Spanish Document Section (SDS) of the Archives Collection and Access Division (ACAD) is moving to a new location making the Spanish documents in its custody not accessible. However, majority of the National Archives of the Philippines' (NAP) Spanish collections are already in digital format in the NAP Temporary Reading Room. You may visit our website (www.nationalarchives.gov.ph) for the list of the record series accessible in the NAP Temporary Reading Room. For inquiries you may contact Ms. Aurea Silva, person-in-charge of the Temporary Reading Room, at Tel No. (02) 8-353-3192.
