Your Request

You asked for POLICIES AND PROCEDURE ON RETENTION AND DISPOSAL.

Response to Request

We have received your request regarding the policies and procedures on retention and disposal of records. Since you have mentioned that you will use it for your hospital records, you may use the Department of Health's Records Disposition Schedule as your reference. You may send a letter request to them asking for a copy of their RDS.

Moreover, for policies and procedure of general records you may access NAP's General Records Disposition Schedule accessible via National Archives' website ( https://nationalarchives.gov.ph/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/NAP-Gen.-Circular-1-2-and-GRDS-2009.pdf ).

Your right to request a review

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
