Hi i would like to request an information regarding to my friend  from canada, he feels like he is being scammed by the guy who refer him a lawyer. The guy ask him money to file a case against a PH person, then last time the guy said that the case was like, the other side pledge guilty and promise to pay  him money on april. but today the guy send him picture of subpoena from a  court towards him. 
The subpoena CCD is from Cebu City 000847
No license number of the lawyer
My friendsn ame is Sven Lin and the other guy in subpoena is John Cedric  De Vera.  I just want to verify if scam.
