This distressing incident occurred on October 19, 2023, while we were trying to find a house we could rent in the Manila area. We were in search of a house on Facebook, and, as per the instructions provided by the individual who posted the listing, we were directed to communicate via WhatsApp. Unfortunately, we fell victim to a scam during this process.
