Goodday, in order to have some clarifications regarding NBI Clearance since some website's info vary from each other.
1. Complete list of Valid IDs to be presented to apply for NBI Clearance?
2. Is PSA birth certificate a valid ID to be presented?
Can PSA birth certificate be presented for first time applicant of NBI clearance?
4. What if a person only has a PSA Birth cert no other IDs, what can he/she present for second?
Can the person still apply for NBI Clearance through online or should it be a walk-in application?
5. Is old SSS ID card still valid ID?
Can it be use for application?

Response to Request
Your FOI request is approved. The following is a list of all accepted valid identification cards for the processing of NBI Clearance:
1. BIR/ TIN
2. Certification from Malacañang in connection with Indigenous Groups and Tribal Membership
3. Driver's License
4. DSWD Foundling
5. IBP License Card
6. Government Employee ID
7. National ID
8. Pag-Ibig ID/ Loyalty Card
9. MARINA ID
10. Passport
11. PhilHealth ID
12. Postal ID
13. PRC License
14. PSA Birth Certificate (AUTHENTICATED)
15. PWD ID
16. School ID together with Current Registration Card
17. Seaman's Book
18. Security License ID
19. Senior Citizen's ID
20. Solo Parent ID
21. Unified ID (UMID)
22. Voter's ID or Certificate of Registration
PSA Birth Certificate is considered a valid ID to be presented, however, the same should be AUTHENTICATED.
A person can apply online thru our website nbi.gov.ph
As what appears in the updated list of valid ids provided by the NBI, SSS ID card is not a valid ID hence, it cannot be used for application for NBI clearance.

Regarding the PSA Birth Certificate (Authenticated)
1. Who will authenticate this document?
2. Is this available in the list of IDs accepted in NBI online website registration?
