Hi Ma'am/Sir,

My name is Angelica Magalad and I would like to seek your assistance about an extremely frustrating incident regarding a scammer named Brent Calanasan, and is using Brent C Alas in Facebook. 

On September 21, 2023, my husband messaged this 'Brent C Alas' in Facebook Messenger about an items (Fiber Optic Connectors/SC Buttefly). These items were 770pcs which costs 30php/pc. He showed proof of legitimacy until my husband believed to be true and decided to accept it.

On September 22, 2023, we transferred and paid the items amounting to 23,100. The payment was sent using my UnionBank account through his Komo/East West Rural Bank account number 500020562668 under account name Brent Calanasan. 

But upon checking the next day, we found out that the J&T tracking number he provided was invalid waybill number and even his contact number was incorrect upon dialling. We also found out that the picture of the waybill tracking number he gave to us was on google and he only edited it. We tried to call/contact him on Facebook Messenger but he is no longer available. It resulted him blocking my husband on Facebook Messenger.

We hopefully want to get back our hard-earned money or at least, get the justice we deserve. Herewith attached the screenshots of conversations and proof of transfer for your reference. Thank you so much
