Good day!
I would like to request for your data on the electrification activities being conducted for the communities established by the agencies of the national government and/or non-government organizations for the victims of typhoon yolanda in the province of Cebu particularly in Bantayan Island between 2013 until the present?
Also, may I ask for information on whether there are specific means for these communities to receive electricity apart from the standard ways? and if temporary communities waiting to be relocated to a permanent house is also covered by these electrification activities

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated January 16, 2020 regarding the electrification activities for Typhoon Yolanda affected communities in Bantayan Island, Cebu under the Electronic Freedom of Information (eFOI).

Your FOI request of data is hereby granted. Attached is the detailed information for the said request appropriated/released to the National Electrification Administration (NEA) in partnership with Bantayan Island Electric Cooperative, Inc. (BANELCO).

Likewise, for your second question regarding means of receiving electricity for the affected communities. All beneficiaries that is relocated to a resettlement site under the NHA Yolanda Permanent Housing projects is entitled to have basic necessity after transferring to a housing unit that includes the electricity connection.
