Good day!

I'm writing a research paper on measuring the local development index. One of the datasets I need can be found in the EC profiles published by your office.

In this regard, may I request from your office an Excel copy of EC Profile by Region/Electric Cooperatives from the year 2000 to 2020?

I've attached a photo for your reference.

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Jan 30, 2023 12:56:04 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked for EC Profile by Region/Electric Cooperatives from the year 2000 to 2020.

Your FOI request is approved. However, please be informed that the EC Profile which you requested for can be found on the Rural Electrification Chronicle which is a yearly publication made by our Agency but is being sold at Php500 each. The RE Chronicle consists of EC Profiles for 3 years. You can get a copy of said publication at our office. 

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Dominique T. Gonzales with email address pao_nea@yahoo.com. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
