Our PCAARRD DOST-funded project, "The Socio-Economics Research and Data Analytics Laboratory", would like to request access to the available NFA rice data from the earliest to latest. The details of the needed data are specified in the attached request letter.

Note: We already have a copy of the data on the national level per year for stocks and prices. Therefore, a coverage of the per month, per province, and per region of stocks and prices would be of great help.

Thank you for your request dated May 29, 2018 10:13:22 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your Request

You asked for Rice Statistics.

Response to Request

We apologized for the delay because we were able to access our e-FOI portal just recently. Should you still need the data, we are attaching the ff:

1. Beginning and ending stock inventory
2. Rice importation
3. NFA palay procurement
4. NFA rice distribution

As to your request for the farm-gate price, you may search the website of Phil. Statistics Authority. Our palay procurement price is P17.00/kg plus P0.70 incentives (P0.20/kg drying fee. P0.20/kg transport fee and P0.30/kg for cooperative incentive fee for those who are members of farmers' organizations). The govt. buying support price of P17.00/kg was made effective since 2008 to present. The govt approved an additional P3.00/kg incentive effective October 12, 2018 including the above mentioned incentives. The additional P3.00/kg was implemented to encourage local farmers to sell their produce to NFA.

Your right to request a review
