Good day ms. bianca!

We acknowledged receipt of your request thru our FOI mechanism. As to your request for documents as indicated in your request :

1. Official documents on the mechanisms for the allocation of MAV, you may find the needed info (both for MAV and NFA rice importation) as published in our official website nfa.gov.ph under the rice importation section and import arrivals. The SPS measures are also indicated in the Terms of Reference (TOR).

2. As to the list of institutions/corporations with import licenses for rice from 1995 to present - we shall refer this to concerned office and send the needed data as soon as it is available.

3. As to the minutes of NFA COuncil, we could not provide you with the said copies since these are not for public disclosure. You may be referring to the Inter-agency Food Security Council which recommends for the rice importation, however, we do not have a copy of such minutes because we are just a member of the said inter-agency committee.

4. Agency level reports - we shall refer this to our concerned office and send you the documents as soon as it is available.

5. As to the list of markets where the weevil-infested rice have been distributed, these are the markets within regions 3 and 5 only because these are already allocated to them.

 Thank you
