Good day, ma'am/sir!

I am Josiebeth Azuelo, a junior law student of Silliman University. As fulfilment of the requirements of my Juris Decree, I am conducting a study regarding Illegal Settlement in the Philippines. In line with this, I need the following information, if you may allow me to have a copy of:

1. Number of illegal settlers in the Philippines when squatting was still a crime under P.D. 772 enacted on August 20, 1975;

2. Number of Illegal Settlers when PD. 772 was repealed by R.A. No. 8368 on 1997; and

3. Number of illegal Settlers when LINA law was enacted on March 24, 1992.

Per coordination with our Corporate Planning Department, NHA has no available data on the number of illegal settlements in the Philippines under PD 772 in 1975 and LINA Law in 1992.  

You may coordinate with the NEDA Office for said information or kindly visit their website and check data under the Philippine Medium Term Plan.
