Greetings!

     I, Dwight Cholo A. Delfin, currently a Grade 12 STEM Student from TRACE College. Together with my members, we are conducting a research entitled "The Feasibility of Calcium Carbonate from Mud Crab (Scylla Serrata) as a Substitute Coagulant of Tofu". We are now in the middle of Chapter 4, may we know if you had a national standards for tofu in the Philippines? If there is, may we know where can we find or view the said standards?

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested. However, you may contact the Nutrition and Food Research and Development Division of the Department of Science and Technology - Food and Nutrition Research Institute for available researches, if any and the Food and Drug Administration - Center for Food Regulation and Research for the Philippine National Standards for fresh soybean curd (tofu), if available.
