Your Request

You asked for Guidelines on Overweight and Obesity Management and Prevention Program.

Response to Request

The National Policy in Addressing Overweight and Obesity is currently being finalized. The policy will provide direction and guidance to stakeholders involved in preventing and managing overweight and obesity as part of overall efforts to address all forms of malnutrition in the country. The strategies for obesity management include the development of nutrition practice guidelines and integration of screening and management in the primary care level which will be led by the DOH..

Your right to request a review

Dayanghirang, Assistant Secretary and Executive Director of the National Nutrition Council through e-mail address oed@nnc.gov.ph.
