Data Breach of Online Loans App

Requested from NPC by M. Boholst at 06:26 PM on Jul 12, 2022.
Purpose: Complaints on OLA that harvests contact details
Date of Coverage: 07/12/2022 - 07/12/2022
Tracking no: #NPC-409229204368

Boholst 06:26 PM, Jul 12, 2022

I would like to raise my concern about my personal data as I feel like it has breached my privacy. I learned that online loan apps are not allowed to harvest contact information in my phonebook other than the reference number submitted to them. I had made financial mistakes that led me to applying to said loan application since I got scared and they send messages and call me that is degrading. Now that I have asked for help to my parents and they have been keeping in touch with them. However, FirstPeso messaged people from my phonebook. I believe that all online apps do so.
