Purpose: For the agency to look into these not SEC registered illegal lending companies.

I want the agency to look into these company  for them to stop harassing and threatening me and my contact references and shame me for my loan. They even threaten that they will visit my workplace and post my debt to social media.

While we aim to provide information whenever possible, in this instance, your inquiry is not a valid FOI request. Complaints and request for clarification on data privacy or data protection should be responded to through email reply. 

Nonetheless, to assist you with your concern, we have forwarded your inquiry, name, and email address to our Public Information and Assistance Division (info@privacy.gov.ph) for the drafting of response.

However, if the concerned office determines that this may be a subject of an advisory opinion, the same will be released to you not later than 20 working days, unless the complexity and novelty of the subject matter require a longer period of time for further evaluation.
