Good day! I just have a traumatic experience from this online lending app - SWIPECASH. Today is my due date but when I informed them that I will pay overdue penalties, nagalit ang nagsend ng mga offensive messages like below: 
MAGANDANG UMAGA ARA SA ISANG SCAMMER NA KATULAD MO! MAGBAYAD KA HOY!

ISA KANG MALAKING SALOT SA PAMILYA MO ANG KAPAL NG PAGMUMUKHA MONG ESTAPADOR KA!

I have good faith in paying my debts but this act of collecting debts really give me headaches. I hope this rude Apps will be put into an end so that no more Filipinos will become victims of this loan sharks. Thank you

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance your inquiry is not a valid FOI request. Complaints and request for clarification on data privacy or data protection should be responded through email reply. 

Nonetheless, to assist you with your concern, we have forwarded your inquiry, name, and email address to our Public Information and Assistance Division (info@privacy.gov.ph) for drafting of response.

You may expect our written response within 3-7 working days. However, if the concerned office determined that this may be a subject of an advisory opinion, the same will be release to you not later than 20 working days, unless the complexity and novelty of the subject matter requires a longer period of time for further evaluation.

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response, by writing to Privacy Commissioner and Chairman Raymund E.
