Purpose: Investigation on Pinoy Peso Lending App for flooding messages to all the contacts on my contact list

Hi I would like to request for the said Lending Application to be investigated. I was able to talk to them regarding the payment on my loan but they sent and flooded messages to all the contacts on my phone on October 11. We have an agreement that this won't happen again but they sent another flood on October 23. I spoke to the agent named GAB ANDA (not his real name) but he threatened me and cursed me over the phone. I was able to record the call.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance your inquiry is not a valid FOI request. Complaints and request for clarification on data privacy or data protection should be responded through email reply. 

Nonetheless, to assist you with your concern, we have forwarded your inquiry, name, and email address to our Public Information and Assistance Division (info@privacy.gov.ph) for drafting of response.

You may expect our written response within 3-7 working days. However, if the concerned office determined that this may be a subject of an advisory opinion, the same will be release to you not later than 20 working days, unless the complexity and novelty of the subject matter requires a longer period of time for further evaluation.
