Good day. I would like to request for a formal complaint against Online Lending Apps for Invasion of Privacy as the have accessed all my contacts and more than personal information. I would also want to file a complaint for Harassment as they are harassing all the contact information they have gathered from my phone by sending mean and grave text messages and also by continuously calling them and cursing them and shouting at them. And finally, I would like to Legally file a Complaint for Death Threat as I have been receiving threats thru text and calls that they will kill me if I don't pay.

Good day. I would like to follow up on the request I filed as they are still harassing me and my family. These Lending Apps keeps on sending death threat, cursing messages and threats to kidnap my kids or any of my family member. The anxiety this brings me made me rush to the hospital. Please I am begging your company to help me on this matter as soon as possible. Thank you and God bless.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance your inquiry is not a valid FOI request. Complaints and request for clarification on data privacy or data protection should be responded through email reply.

Nonetheless, to assist you with your concern, we have forwarded your inquiry, name, and email address to our Public Information and Assistance Division (info@privacy.gov.ph) for drafting of response.

You may expect our written response within 3-7 working days. However, if the concerned office determined that this may be a subject of an advisory opinion, the same will be release to you not later than 20 working days, unless the complexity and novelty of the subject matter requires a longer period of time for further evaluation.
