Hi I have this email from a so-called Leonardo Capinpin (claiming to be an attorney for PesoQ)

LEGAL ACTION Complainant versus: Cabusas Joel Detailed address: Quezon Lucena City Ibabang Iyam RESPONDENT NPS NO.1-7 INV-19-0143 for ESTAFA BY FRAUD. SUBPOENA FOR RESPONDENT, By Virtue of Authority Vested in me by Section4509 of Revised Administrative Code and Pursuant to PD 77 You are hereby required to submit your counter affidavits to be sworn before me and other supporting documents. If any in your DEFENSE within 5 days from receipt here in relation to the complainant FILED against you.. Legit?

You seek help due to unauthorized access and alleged harassment of an online lending app.

Response to your request

While we aim to provide information whenever possible, in this instance, your inquiry is not a valid FOI request. Complaints and request for clarification on data privacy or data protection should be responded to through email reply. 

Nonetheless, to assist you with your concern, we have forwarded your inquiry, name, and email address to our Public Information and Assistance Division (info@privacy.gov.ph) for the drafting of response.

You may expect our written response within 3-7 working days. However, if the concerned office determines that this may be a subject of an advisory opinion, the same will be released to you not later than 20 working days, unless the complexity and novelty of the subject matter require a longer period of time for further evaluation. 

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Privacy Commissioner and Chairman John Henry Du Naga at info@privacy.gov.ph.
