Hi! I would need help with regards to an online cash app name is Happy Cash app 2. To be honest, I really don’t know what to do with them. They kept my personal information with them, my ID, phone number and address, calling my family members, and threatens that they will file case against me, harassing me that they will come to my location and destroy my house. I never owe them not even single cents. The day I borrow money from them, U returned it to them after 30 mins. as it was a fake and scam information they provided. Please I really need help.

You seek for help due to unauthorized access and alleged harassment of an online lending app.

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance your inquiry is not a valid FOI request. Complaints and request for clarification on data privacy or data protection should be responded through email reply.

Nonetheless, to assist you with your concern, we have forwarded your inquiry, name, and email address to our Public Information and Assistance Division (info@privacy.gov.ph) for drafting of response.

You may expect our written response within 3-7 working days. However, if the concerned office determined that this may be a subject of an advisory opinion, the same will be release to you not later than 20 working days, unless the complexity and novelty of the subject matter requires a longer period of time for further evaluation.
