FACTS OF THE CASE:
1)	That on or about 1030H 27 of August 2022. Mr Jaye Erickson De Guzman of Legal Age, Married, Resident of Medallion homes Brgy Ibayo Marilao Bulacan Philippines,would like to report that i am receiving false information of having a debt thru online lending and threatening me via text and calls that if i did not settle my debt i will be hunted and killed. In addition, i also verified that the said online lending app suncash and claiming to be a company lending institution texted all of my contact details in my mobile phone that resulted of public shaming and loss of credibil

You seek help due to unauthorized access and alleged harassment of your contacts by various online lending apps.

Response to your request

While we aim to provide information whenever possible, in this instance, your inquiry is not a valid FOI request. Complaints and request for clarification on data privacy or data protection should be responded to through email reply. 

Nonetheless, to assist you with your concern, we have forwarded your inquiry, name, and email address to our Public Information and Assistance Division (info@privacy.gov.ph) for the drafting of response.

You may expect our written response within 3-7 working days. However, if the concerned office determines that this may be a subject of an advisory opinion, the same will be released to you not later than 20 working days, unless the complexity and novelty of the subject matter require a longer period of time for further evaluation.

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Privacy Commissioner and Chairman John Henry Du Naga at info@privacy.gov.ph.
