Hi! I am employed in a government agency and I was asked how the excise tax on tobacco affects tobacco farmers.

This will be used in the policy in aid of legislation regarding the aforementioned measure.

Hence, I request the following information:
- Number of tobacco farmers from 2009 to 2018.

You asked for the number of Farmers in the Tobacco Industry covering the period: 2009 - 2018.

Your FOI request is approved. I enclose a soft copy of the number of tobacco farmers for the period 2007 -2022 for your reference in your research.
