Hi, I would like to ask why NTC canceled my Globe number 09157370296. I learned about this because I went to Globe at SM San Lazaro, and they told me that NTC probably canceled the number. I use this number for Gcash, Paymaya, Unionbank, and other banking. Is there a way for my number to be retrieved or reactivated ASAP? Thank you.

You asked for NTC Cancelled my Globe number.

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office finds your request invalid. NTC does not have the authority to cancel SIM Numbers issued to consumers or subscribers. Your SIM Number maybe not registered on the prescribed period given by the authorities and that maybe the reason why the concerned TELCO deactivated your SIM.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to:
