Hi mam/sir, regarding po sa Memorandum Circular (MC) No. 01-05-2019, Rules and Regulations on Unlocking of Mobile Phones and Devices. Kasali po ba yung Globe Prepaid WiFi? Nagrerequest po kase ako sa Globe ayaw po nila i cater kase mobile lang daw pwede.

Thank you for your request dated Mar 23, 2023 03:35:49 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your request

You are filing a complaint against the Telco provider regarding the unlocking of devices after the lock in period.

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office finds that your request is not considered as FOI subject  but a complaint in nature. 

However, to extend our frontline services to our clients, we forwarded your complaint to the Consumer Welfare and Protection DIvision (CWPD) for their appropriate action.  We advise you to wait for the Notice of Mediation or an email coming from the concerned Operating Unit. You may also make a follow-up at Telephone Number 8920-4464 or 8926-7722.
