Hi FOI / NTC, 
I am sending this request to inquire the complete process on how to import demo units from a foreign country. Specifically, importing demo units of microwave radios, DMRs, handheld radios, broadcast transmitters or units normally requiring type-approval certificates but will only be used for demo purposes.

Is there also a policy requiring the units to be returned to the country of origin after a certain period? 

If so, how long is the said period? 

Is it also allowable for the demo units to not be returned if only one to two units will be imported?
